For a content marketing agency, I worked with a large team that created works-for-hire for Sharecare.com. This work included writing about dozens of health conditions and medicines. The site was aimed at consumers.
The work included writing answers to a series of questions so consumers could get the full picture about the medical condition. This included a general description of the condition. Content also included information about symptoms, causes, treatment, how the body responded to the condition, risk factors, diagnosis procedures, medications, prevention, alternative treatments, and daily management of the condition.
The site also covered most common medications used by consumers. Again, this content answered a series of questions that consumers might have about the medication. The text addressed the medicine itself, what it treated, possible side effects, how it might interact with other medicines or food, and who should not take the medicine.
The purpose of this project was to create simple content that would clearly answer any question that a consumer might have about the topic.
